3/25/2009, 2:00pm - 3:00pm, ALU313, we have our last Robot Programming Training Session, and Mr. Jesse Field gave us a presentation on Programming iRobot to Play a Game of Tag.
2/25/2009, 2:00pm - 3:00pm, ALU313, we have our Robot Programming Training Session 3. Students learned how to analyze sample programs, and modify the sample programs to have new functions.
1/28 and 2/11 we have the first 2 robot-programming training sessions:
1. Introduce the iRobot Create and Command Module, and we have our first program. The lecture can be downloaded here.
2. Starting programming from examples. The lecture can be downloaded here.

John Long - Short Bio:
I am a Ruby developer at the Budget and Control Board for the state of South Carolina and I've also dabbled in game development through C++ and Python. My current projects in Erlang revolve around dynamic websites and the xmpp protocol for communication with game servers using ejabberd.
Description of Erlang:
Erlang is a functional, concurreny-oriented, distributive, fault-tolerant programming language built for designing soft real-time systems that never go down. See http://erlang.org/ and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
